Green Inferno Movie

Cannibals are making a comeback to the big screen! Yep, Director Eli Roth is working on The Green Inferno, an upcoming horror movie featuring cannibalism in the Peruvian jungle. The film is based on a script co-written by Eli Roth and Guillermo Amoedo. The title is actually a nod to Cannibal Holocaust 2: The Green Inferno was indeed an alternate title of the 1988 horror film Cannibal Holocaust II. Filming should start Fall 2012 in Peru and Chile, so the film likely be released end of 2013 or in 2014.

Plot:
"The film follows an idealistic student and a group of naive do-gooders who are captured by cannibalistic Amerindians after their plane crash lands in the Peruvian jungle."

Sounds like Eli Roth's Green Inferno will be yet another Hollywood movie depicting Amerindians as evil uncivilized people... So is it going to be as controversial as the Cannibal Holocaust movies and Mel Gibson's Apocalypto?
